Overview

About this meeting

The 9th ÖGMBT Annual Meeting & 8th Life Science Meeting Innsbruck aims to provide the latest insights on "Molecular and cellular mechanisms of human diseases". Scientists working in Austria together with international leaders at the forefronts of their fields will discuss the latest progress on:

LYSOSOMES AND DISEASE (keynotes: Maria Mota, Andrea Ballabio)
SIGNALING IN CANCER AND IMMUNITY (keynotes: Florian Greten, Richard Marais)
SIGNALING MECHANISMS: PROTEIN INTERACTIONS, EPIGENETICS & DISEASE
(keynotes: Silvio Gutkind, Thomas Carell)

RNA BIOLOGY (keynotes: Alexander Mankin, Michaela Frye)
STEM CELLS (keynotes: Alexander Meissner, Andreas Trumpp)
CELL DIVISION (keynotes: Steven Taylor, Matthias Peter)
STRUCTURAL BIOLOGY AND BIOPHYSICS (keynote: Nieng Yan)
TRANSLATIONAL ONCOLOGY (keynotes: Christine Falk, Georg Winter)
BIOPHYSICS AUSTRIA ANNUAL MEETING (keynote: Karl Lohner)

The meeting will take place in the CCB building of the Innsbruck Universities (Medical University and Leopold Franzens University). The venue is ideal for fostering interactions among scientists of different fields and stimulating the exchange of ideas ensuring that the young participants are exposed to cutting edge inter-disciplinary research.

We look forward to seeing you in Innsbruck!

On behalf of the organizing committee
David Teis
