Course summary: The course will focus on the involvement of individual lipid species as molecular switches in biologically important processes such as lipid sensing, membrane traffic, amyloid formation, and lipid–protein interactions. Leading lipid researchers will meet with young researchers to discuss basic and emerging topics. In addition, the lipid field is technically complex and recent technological advances will be addressed. Social interactions are an important aspect of the meeting. |
