KNIME: Bringing Bioinformatics to Biologists (and others) |

With recent advances in many fields that make up
'bioinformatics' (computer science & hardware, biology, biologys'
devices, bioinformatics itself), it was getting harder and harder to
make these advances accessible to the broad number of
researchers.
These new developments are often difficult to handle, without
detailed knowledge of underlying systems.
KNIME facilitates making these developments available by
creating a common infrastructure to embed tools into, that even
allow a coordinated execution - commonly known as workflows.
But that is not the only door that KNIME opens....
