From Monday, 13. April 2015
To Tuesday, 14. April 2015
The Steering Group for the Platform for Advanced Cellular Therapies PACT
cordially invites you to a Symposium entitled “The Fountain of Youth?”

This title was chosen to reflect and focus on the efforts of our “younger” researchers
in the field of regenerative medicine and cell based therapies in and around Austria.
The programme will be featured under the topics of the recently formed “Core Groups” which will be
presented through key note lectures, presentations and posters.
  • Musculoskeletal Research (Chairs: Florien Jenner, Heinz Redl)
  • Tissue and Organ Replacement (Chairs: Jan Ankersmit, Michael B. Fischer)
  • Cancer and Immunotherapy (Chairs: Thomas Felzmann, Hannes Stockinger)
  • Cardiovascular Research (Chairs: Kurt Huber, Johann Wojta)
  • Technology and Regulatory Affairs (Chairs: Renate Kunert, Bernd Jilma)
After the huge success of the International Symposium held at the Medical University in April 2014
the PACT Scientific Committee decided to give a “platform” indeed, an “opportunity” not only for the
discussion of cutting edge research topics in medicine and cell biology but to focus on our researching youth,
offering them the opportunity to present their projects in the presence of their peers!
