ÖGMBT members are automatically members of these societies and are entitled to benefits such as travel grants, short-term and long-term fellowships, Awards etc. Current calls and deadlines are published on our webpage and are sent to our members within the ÖGMBT newsletter.

FEBS is pleased to announce that ÖGMBT members can now choose to publish open access articles in two FEBS  journals (The FEBS Journal and FEBS Letters) at no direct cost. In February 2021, Wiley, FEBS’ publishing partner, agreed a 3-year combined open access publication and subscription agreement with the Austrian Academic Library Consortium (KEMÖ) and the Austrian Science Fund (FWF). Researchers at affiliated institutes will be able to both access Wiley’s subscription journals and to publish accepted articles open access in both The FEBS Journal and FEBS Letters with no direct charge. Corresponding authors of articles accepted for publication in either FEBS Letters or The FEBS Journal should click Order Open Access (see here) when prompted to make their article open access with no direct charge.
