We cordially invite you to the 3rd Annual Meeting of the Austrian Platform for Personalized Medicine (ÖPPM) scheduled to take place at the Medical University of Vienna from October 14–15, 2019.
While our previous conferences were dedicated to raising awareness for a national alignment of all stakeholders and to forming a nation-wide network of experts, the upcoming 3rd Annual Meeting of the ÖPPM seeks to mark a national “call to action” and will be guided by the two broad topics “Expectations” and “Economic aspects” in the context of Personalized Medicine.
An interdisciplinary program aims to evaluate the different expectations of stakeholders and, at the same time, to critically address the economic, regulatory and technological challenges on the way to implementation of Personalized Medicine in a health care system strongly marked by the principle of solidarity. Invited talks, a public lecture and panel discussions will provide ample opportunity for in-depth discussions throughout the conference. During the two workshops facilitated by the working groups of the Platform, position papers will be drafted and active participants will have the opportunity to shape subsequent publications as co-authors.
